Importantly, increased expression of FDPS was found to be associated with several malignancies, such as prostate cancer, glioblastoma, colon cancer, and PDAC.8, 9, 10, 11 When FDPS is overexpressed in tumour tissues, its activity increases and correlates with activation of growth-promoting signalling pathways such as AKT, ERK, and STAT3.9 Here, FDPS is linked to prostate cancer.
