COXFA4L2 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: The observation that HIF1α activation is sufficient to drive these changes in TRACK suggests that transcriptional targets of HIF1α, potentially mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase 1 alpha subcomplex 4-like 2 (NDUFA4L2), may contribute to the metabolic reprogramming observed in human ccRCC (10).
