CRP and infection: The initial (OR, 1.627; 95% CI, 1.342–1.973) and mid‐term (OR, 1.599; 95% CI, 1.349–1.895) blood glucose levels were related to markers of infection, such as C‐reactive protein (CRP) (OR, 1.010; 95% CI, 0.995–1.026) and the ESR (OR, 1.045; 95% CI, 1.026–1.064).
