Among these six genes, CA02g15240 (auxin-repressed 12.5 kDa protein-like isoform), CA10g00480 (NADPH: protochlorophyllide oxidoreductase (POR)), and CA07g02110 (polygalacturonase-inhibiting protein (PGIP)) were downregulated in infected KK plants and upregulated in infected DS plants, whereas CA07g11190 (1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid oxidase (ACO)), CA02g26610 (S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase proenzyme (SAMDC)), and CA09g02410 (phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) were upregulated in KK plants and downregulated in DS plants upon infection, according to the RNA-seq data. This evidence concerns the gene KLK15 and infection.
