At both 24 and 36 hpi, the majority of peaks found in CLIP-seq did not correlate with significantly upregulated or downregulated transcripts, although several peaks were found on transcripts that are upregulated during viral infection, such as the pseudogenes ANKRD26P1 and RPSAP56 at 24 hpi, and cellular viral response genes IFIT2, IFNB1, CXCL10, and OAS3 at 36 hpi. This evidence concerns the gene IFIT2 and viral infectious disease.
