PSMB9 and Burkitt lymphoma: Latency 0 (defined by viral genome persistence without transcription) and latency I (single expression of EBNA-1) states are found in cycling memory B cells and Burkitt’s lymphoma (BL); latency II (EBNA1+, LMP1+ and LMP2+) is found in germinal centres of EBV carriers, Hodgkin’s lymphoma and some in-vitro-generated EBV-infected lymphoblastoid cell lines (LCLs).
