Our study showed that 35 kidney transplant recipients with vs. 14 without mycophenolate mofetil treatment responded to vaccination with less increase in opsonophagocytic killing assay (OPA) titers as well as global and serotype-specific anti-pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide (PCP) IgG, IgG2, and IgA at months 1 and 12 post-vaccination. This evidence concerns the gene CD79A and urogenital neoplasm.
