A recent study investigated the effect of a diet including M. oleifera leaves and seeds on the activity of candidate enzymes, such as acetylcholinesterase (AChE), monoamine oxidase (MAO), ACE, adenosine deaminase (ADA) and arginase in relation to erectile dysfunction in penile tissues of diabetic male rats treated with or without Acarbose (ACA). This evidence concerns the gene ACHE and erectile dysfunction.
