(2010) found some additional evidence of association between FAAH gene variants and obesity—the G allele of rs2295632 was associated with early-onset obesity in 521 trios (children/adolescents and both biological parents), though this finding did not replicate in a second cohort of trios, and there was no association with obesity in adults (n = 8491 participants from a population-based study sample) [56].
