Knock down of StarD13 however, showed an increase in GTP-Cdc42, strongly suggesting that StarD13 is a GAP for this Rho GTPase in ovarian cancer cells, similarly to findings in other tumor types (El-Sitt et al., 2012; Hanna et al., 2014a; Khalil et al., 2014; Nasrallah et al., 2014). Here, STARD13 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
