Interestingly, multiple mutations in the P-Rex2 PH domain, such as A315D, located in the β5/β6 loop, have been associated with lung adenocarcinoma (Srijakotre et al., 2017, Suzuki et al., 2013), suggesting the importance of this element in regulation, either auto-regulation or by other molecules.
