Although these data suggest that DDR1b and DDR2 differentially regulate the Hippo pathway, these alterations did not translate in clear differences in total and phosphorylated levels or the nuclear versus cytoplasmic localisation of the major effector of the Hippo pathway—Yes-associated protein (YAP), so the link between DDRs and the Hippo pathway in fibrosarcoma needs to be further investigated.
