By analyzing the relationship between PNI+ALBI grade and other clinicopathological characteristics, we concluded that the PNI+ALBI grade had a certain correlation with the clinicopathological characteristics related to both PNI and ALBI (such as obstructive jaundice, AFP, CA19-9, CA125, PNI, ALBI, Child–Pugh grade, type of resection, portal block time, and microvascular invasion) or related to PNI or ALBI only (such as blood loss, major vascular invasion, T stage, and N stage), and even had a certain correlation with characteristics not related to PNI or ALBI (such as tumor size). The gene discussed is MUC16; the disease is obstructive jaundice.
