Currently, T cells and dendritic cells are considered as the primary immune cells that release cytokines associated with psoriasis, such as interleukin (IL)-17A, IL-22, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and interferon (IFN)-γ, which affect keratinocyte proliferation (Nadeem et al., 2020b).
