DPP4 was found to be a marker of activated fibroblasts, and DPP4 inhibition attenuated kidney fibrosis, dermal fibrosis, and liver fibrosis (Gangadharan Komala et al., 2016; Lay et al., 2019; S. Y.; Lee et al., 2020; Soare et al., 2020). Here, DPP4 is linked to Hepatic fibrosis.
