We previously proposed that basal level activation of AhR can maintain the high motility of human glioblastoma cells, and the exogenous AhR ligands, such as TCDD and rutaecarpine, can competitively bind to AhR to weaken or eliminate the effect of the endogenous ligands and lead to the inhibiting effect on cell migration ability (Liu et al., 2021).
