No difference was found in the CD4+ T cell percentage between the groups (p = 0.86), but AMD and iAMD had a statistically significant higher percentage of CD8+ T cells (30% (IQR: 22–34) and 28% (IQR: 21–33)) than the MPNd and MPNn groups (23% (IQR: 17–28) and 22% (IQR: 16–28)) (nAMD- MPNd: p = 0.0010, nAMD-MPNn: p = 0.0040, iAMD-MPNd: p = 0.050, iAMD-MPNn: p = 0.038) (Figure 2B).
