PBMCs showed the strongest activities of BPs in the early stage of infection (0–24 h), not only including up-regulated signaling pathways in interleukins, response to wounding and positive regulation of cell migration, but also down-regulated signaling pathways in negative regulation of cellular component organization, regulation of cytoskeleton organization, regulation of cell adhesion, cellular response to nitrogen compound, adaptive immune system, transcriptional regulation by TP53 and organelle localization. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is infection.
