To find out the underlying mechanism responsible for the tumor-suppressive effect of miR-300 overexpression against the cervical cancer cells, the Annexin V-FITC/PI staining method combined with flow cytometry was used to study the apoptosis of CaSki and HeLa cancer cells overexpressing miR-300 using the respective miR-NC transfected cancer cells as corresponding negative controls.
