In a mouse model of angiotensin II (Ang II)-induced heart hypertrophy, puerarin (100 mg/kg) ameliorated heart hypertrophy through up-regulation of miR-15b/195 expression and inhibition of non-canonical TGF-β signal members (TGF-β-activated-kinase 1 and p38). The gene discussed is TGFB1; the disease is cardiac hypertrophy.
