The Kaplan–Meier analysis showed that high miR-216a expression had significant associations with short OS, while high GDF15 expression had significant associations with long OS in bladder carcinoma (BLCA), cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCA), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (Figure 5c–j). The gene discussed is GDF15; the disease is bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
