The incidence of positive staining for p53 acetylated at lysine 382 expression was 171 (68.4%), out of which 139 (73.2%) samples were positive in male and 32 (53.3%) in female patients (p-value 0.004), suggesting male patients are more likely to have tumours that stain positively for K382. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is neoplasm.
