We also found PLA2G4A to be highly expressed in certain hematological cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which is consistent with the previous reports of overexpression of PLA2G4A in leukemias [15,16,17], and also in multiple myeloma and lymphoma, which has not previously been reported. The gene discussed is PLA2G4A; the disease is plasma cell myeloma.
