The final results of another phase 2 trial that was designed to evaluate the efficacy of Myr B and PEG IFN-α 2a combination therapy were recently published by Wedemeyer, H et al. A total of Sixty HBeAg-negative CHD patients were divided into four groups and received: 180 mg PEG IFN-α alone, Myr B alone, Myr B 2 mg with PEG IFN-α or Myr B 5 mg with PEG IFN-α for 48 weeks followed by a follow-up period of 24 weeks.
