The results showed that the relative transcription level of TLR4 in the NAFLD group (4.84 ± 2.74) was significantly higher than that in the normal group, while the relative transcription level of TLR4 in the liver of the MA2 group was significantly reduced (1.64 ± 0.68; Figure 5a). Here, TLR4 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
