In support of this hypothesis, recent data indicate that anti-IL-17 agents, such as secukinumab (anti-IL-17A antibody), ixekizumab (anti-IL-17A antibody), brodalumab (anti-IL-17RA antibody) and bimekizumab (anti-IL-17A and -17F antibody) are effective forms of treating moderate to severe psoriasis, which is expressed by reducing PASI and/or BSA score [83,84,85,86,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103]. This evidence concerns the gene IL17A and psoriasis.
