This phenomenon is also observed in other mature T-cell malignancies, such as recurrent rearrangements at chromosome 14 in T-cell prolymphocytic leukaemia (T-PLL) and the driver fusion-protein oncogene NPM-ALK in anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) [258,259]. The gene discussed is NPM1; the disease is T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
