ERBB3 and melanocytic nevus: This is consistent with the increased expression of ErbB2 and ErbB3 during the malignant transformation of complete mole towards choriocarcinoma [71,72,73], and the general role of ErbB2/ErbB3 signaling in tumorigenesis by affecting autonomous cancer hallmarks (e.g., uncontrolled cell proliferation) and anti-tumor immune responses [70,74].
