Uncovering the functions of CRIP1 and CRIP3 could be a way to clarify some of the relationships between OS and zinc homeostasis, which may promote the development or the prevention of OS and zinc homeostasis-related diseases such as atherosclerosis [29], Parkinson’s disease [30], cancer, and hepatitis virus infection [31,32].
