Six genes from the 11p11.2 (C1QTNF4, FAM180B, MADD, MTCH2, SLC39A13, and NDUFS3) were found to be regulated by the AD and cognitive performance candidate SNPs, determined by the common rs3817334 polymorphism plus rs11605348 for the cognitive phenotype and 135 additional SNPs for the AD phenotype. This evidence concerns the gene MTCH2 and Alzheimer disease.
