The Unyvero hospitalized pneumonia multiplex PCR panel (Curetis AG, Holzgerlingen, Germany) detects 21 bacteria including, S. aureus, most of the Enterobacterales, P. aeruginosa, S. maltophilia, or A. baumanii complex, well as 21 antibiotic resistance genes such as CTX-M subgroup 1 only, SHV, TEM, KPC, IMP, NDM, VIM, OXA-23, OXA-24, OXA-48, OXA-58, mecA, and mec-C genes [26]. Here, VIM is linked to susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
