Namely, in six cases, HER2-positivity was documented after NACT; thus, trastuzumab was added to the adjuvant chemotherapy protocol; in two cases of triple-negative carcinoma pre-NACT, endocrine therapy was performed as residual carcinoma showed hormone receptors expression; the remaining case was a triple-negative carcinoma that changed into luminal B-like HER2-positive and patient became eligible for both trastuzumab and endocrine therapy. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and carcinoma.
