The authors demonstrated that gut microbiota dysbiosis-driven local Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) production could be responsible for male reproductive toxicity induced by G. In the present study, dietary RU exposure could provoke the decrease in sperm motility though the activation of Th17 cells and the increase in IL-17A production and, consequently, the increase in testis inflammation. Here, IL17A is linked to male reproductive organ cancer.
