Overexpression of Zkscan3 has been observed in colorectal cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, and cervical cancer, suggesting a potential role for ZKSCAN3 in tumorigenesis (Yang et al. 2008, 2011; Zhang et al. 2012; Chi et al. 2018; Lee et al. 2018).
