CDKN2B and atherosclerosis: Thus, lncRNAs, namely DYNLRB2-2, lnc-HC, and CDKN2B-AS1, affect ABCA1 expression as a result of their interaction with other proteins or DNA, being involved to some extent in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, contributing to the disease development in the case of downregulation of ABCA1 expression (lnc-HC and CDKN2B-AS1) and preventing its development in the case of its upregulation (DYNLRB2-2).
