CircRNA named myocardial infarction-associated circular RNA (MICRA, gene ZNF609 (zinc finger protein 609)), whose function is currently unknown, but probably connected to miR-150, is associated with the outcome after myocardial infarction; patients with low levels of MICRA in the blood were at high risk of left ventricle dysfunction after myocardial infarction [350]. Here, ZNF609 is linked to myocardial infarction.
