Cdkn2a and Ccnd1 were up-regulated in GNAQQ209L expressing melanocytes by an LFC of 5 and 1.7, respectively, similar to the intracellular response to oxidative stress previously described in melanocytes in the disease, vitiligo, which results in the loss of melanocytes from the epidermis (Bellei et al., 2013; Becatti et al., 2014; Choi et al., 2010). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and vitiligo.
