To further investigate the predicted responses of immunophenotyping clusters to ICTs, we compared immune checkpoint gene expressions and found that expressions of PD-L1, PD-L2, LAG-3, IL-8, PDCD1, CTLA-4, and TIGIT were significantly elevated in Clusters B and C compared with Cluster A, suggesting an immune-infiltrated TME of ccRCC (Figures 7A–G). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
