HDAC6 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Yang (Li et al., 2021) reported that HDAC6 could regulate K-RAS acetylation; moreover, HDAC6 inhibition dramatically affected the growth properties of cancer cells with activation mutants of K-RAS, which suggested the utility of therapeutic targeting HDAC6 in the treatment of pancreatic cancer with mutant forms of K-RAS.
