In this study, we used LPS-stimulated BMECs and pregnant mice to establish the inflammatory model of bovine mastitis in vitro [34, 35] and in vivo [36], and found that the combined supplementation of Se and Tau was more effective than Se or Tau alone in alleviating mammary inflammatory lesions induced by LPS via upregulation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. The gene discussed is MTOR; the disease is mastitis.
