The findings were analyzed and correlated with the type of neoplasm (Table 2) and the presence of BRAF mutation. The data obtained was further stratified, studied in detail, and analyzed. These analytical facts of the data are presented in Tables 3-4 and were extrapolated into inferring the individual and combined diagnostic utility of HBME-1, galectin-3, and BRAF V600E expression in morphologic differentiation of thyroid neoplasms. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is neoplasm.
