ALB and Hypoalbuminemia: Patients in the hypoalbuminemia group had significantly lower serum albumin level at admission than those in the normal group [2.5 (2.1–2.9) vs 3.3 (3.2–3.7), P < 0.01], along with the lowest in-hospital albumin level [2.2 (1.9–2.6) vs 3.3 (3.1–3.5), P < 0.01].
