The genes that we investigated were associated with the TLR1/2 signaling pathway (IRAK1, MYD88, and TRAF6), pyruvate catabolism (PDHB, DLAT, and CS), the type I interferon pathway (TYK2), the TNF receptor signaling pathway (TNFRSF1A), a cytosolic immune receptor (ALPK1), p53 regulation (TP73), and inflammasomes (GSDMD and NLRP3), as well as unknown functions in bacterial infection (PHF6, PHIP, and TRERF1). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF1A and bacterial infectious disease.
