Platelet activating factor acetyl hydrolase 1B2 and 1B3 (PAF-AH 1B2 and PAF-AH 1B3) were previously found to be overexpressed or their activities abnormally upregulated in a variety of cancers [3, 15, 18], worked as a metabolic driver in the pathogenicity of breast cancer [15], correlated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients’ poor survival, affected proliferation and apoptosis in Osteosarcoma [18], and mediated the lipid and mediated by several oncogenes, such as HIF1α mediated PAF-AH 1B2 overexpression in PDAC [16]. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is cancer.
