MGMT and neoplasm: In univariate Cox regression (see Supplementary Table 1), low patient age (HR 1.03, p = 0.028), high extent of resection (HR 0.87, p < 0.001), adjuvant radiochemotherapy (HR 0.27, p < 0.001), positive MGMT promoter methylation status (HR 0.46, p = 0.002), and tumor location (HR 0.42, p = 0.001) were significantly associated with prolonged survival.
