In our present study, the expression of SPI1 were significantly up-regulated in tumor tissues and correlated with M2 macrophages, CD8 T cells, Tregs, and predicts poor survival of ESCC patients, suggesting that SPI1 may be a potential biomarker of ESCC and play an equally crucial role in solid tumors. The gene discussed is SPI1; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
