Recently, the sensitive skin, a syndrome associated with pruritus, has been characterized as a small fiber neuropathy [16–18] while, in atopic dermatitis (AD) and psoriasis, two pruritic dermatoses, an increase of GRP+, SP+, VIP+, and CGRP+ cutaneous fiber nerves has been clearly demonstrated [19–21].
