The SOD and GSH-Px activities of rats fed an HF diet alone were reduced by 23.8% and 41.3% compared with those in the NC group (p < 0.01), while the SOD and GSH-PX activities of rats in the HF + LQ and HF + HQ groups were distinctly higher than those of rats in the HF group (p < 0.01) (Fig. 2A, B). This evidence concerns the gene SOD1 and hydrops fetalis.
