DRD3 and Autoimmunity: According to the fundamental function of CD20+ MHC-II+ B cells in CNS autoimmunity and to the important role of DRD3 favouring the infiltration of these B cells in the CNS, Drd3 deficiency in B cells abrogated disease manifestation completely and strongly reduced the frequency of inflammatory CD4+ T cells in this animal model (Fig. 3).
