Interestingly, analysis performed on the phosphoproteomics data provided by the CPTAC‐COAD dataset [21] also showed that phospho‐ERK1(Y204) and phospho‐ERK2(Y187) were significantly lower in tumor than matched mucosa [log2FC (fold‐change) < 0] regardless of the KRAS mutation status (one‐way ANOVA, P < 0.05) (Fig. S4).
