CDH17 and glioma: The prognostic value of other classical cadherins, such as E‐ and N‐cadherin, has been explored in gliomas, but somewhat contradicting findings have been reported, with some authors, suggesting that these cadherins are not suitable as prognostic molecules [74], while others report low levels of CDH2 (coding N‐cadherin protein) as being predictive of longer survival and better response to temozolomide [45], the most used chemotherapeutic agent in the treatment of GBM.
